Build now, Thank yourself later

 "Build homes and plan to stay. Plant gardens, and eat the food they produce. Marry and have children. Then find spouses for them so that you may have grandchildren. Multiply! Do not dwindle away! And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare" - Jeremiah 29:5-7 Have you ever had in mind an ideal place where you saw yourself going?. Have you ever envisioned the type of people you'll meet, what you'll be doing and how valuable you'll be or feel while at this ideal place? Everything about this ideal place you wanted to live in felt perfect. However, what happens when you don't get to live in the ideal place you had in mind?...you build where you are. In the verse above the children of Israel become captives and are exiled to Babylon and the crazy part about it for me is when God tells them to build a life where they are exiled.
